To hide the Work section in the hub

Hi

I want to hide the Work section in the hub when accessed through a Production purpose type node.

In https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-admin/February2020/Subsystems/DeployAdministerQSE/Content/Sense_De... it says :

"To hide the Work section in the hub, you need to disable the security rule that grants the application owner access. "

Which security rule is that?

There is a default rule 'CreateApp'. If you disable that security rule, normal users would not be able to create app in web and 'Work' section would not appear for them as well. But this would also perhaps have some other side effects....that you might want to test and then go ahead with this approach.

OK, I am starting to figure this out my self.

Basically it's the default Load balancing rule shipping with the installation of Qlik Sense named "ResourcesOnNonCentralNodes" that causes the My Work section to be visible even on nodes with Purpose Type "Production".

That rule states that all apps except those in the monitoring stream should be available on all rim nodes (regardless of purpose type, and regardless if they are published or not)

Disabling that rule is necessary to hide the My Work section
