I have loaded data with dates that are only in June.
I then created a master calendar for the entire year.
When I graph or chart any of the data, the June data always shows first, instead of in proper chronological order (I am sorting by date).
I tried adding a "sortOrder" field to the master calendar, and using it as a sort expression. It resolves the problem when my dimension is individual days (as shown below), but when I try to use month as my dimension, it reverts back to starting with June. Is there some generic fix to make the dates sort chronologically?
Why don't you try to sort numerically instead of an expression?
Why don't you try to sort numerically instead of an expression?
That's what I did in the first example.
So what is the issue when you sort numerically?
hmph
I know I tried that before, and the sort order wasn't changing. But now it seems to be working.
Thanks.
It is working, right? I would have thought it to work... and I am glad it did...
