Two file definitions with the same structure

Good Morning All,

I'm new to Qlik Sense and I have run into a bit of an issue. In the same section I have created 2 file definitions, which have the same structure as I would like to keep the contents separate, however, when I run the code in debug it skips over the second definition. Is this a bug or how can I get around this issue?

If I comment either out the code runs successfully but I really need to separate definitions.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Brian.

Not sure I completely understand your issue.

Are you talking about two LOAD statements with the same number and names of fields?

Then Qlik will auto-concatenate the records into one table.

You can prevent Qlik from doing this using the NOCONCATENATE LOAD prefix.

But this will create synthetic keys between the two tables.

Or use a QUALIFY statement in your script.

Thanks Stefan, I was able to use a single structure and load to a temp table.

Cheers mate!
