I want to have a separate set of filters for each of the sheets in an app.If I select a filter in one sheet and then navigate to the other sheet, I don't want that filter to be applied to the second sheet.
Can anyone please help me on this?
Hi Faris,
There are Two ways to do it:
1. You need to Nullify that filters in respective sheet.
2. You need to Create Duplicate filters for sheet wise.
Like:
...
[Filed one ] as Filterone,
[Filed one ] as FilterTwo
..
Thanks,

Hi Aravind,
Nullifying each sheet means manually deselecting those filters?
Yes.
Another approach can be modifying you data model by Delinking those tables
Hi Faris,
Nullify means you have to write set analysis for each object and nullify field as below:
Sum({<Year=>} Sales)
In above expression if you select year then values remain same .

you can use alternate states , have a look at this extension
Hi Andrea.. i have checked that. As per my iunderstanding it is something that the end user sets for each of the charts . Please correct me if i am wrong. If possible can you pls post some qvf file with this extension applied?
yes you right, as in Qlikview with this extension you can set the state for each chart object.
But my purpose is to set each sheet as seperate dashboards like in the other reporting tools where the filters in one sheet wont affect the other sheet. Is it possible to implement a model like this with the extension? Please help on this if you have a solution / or method of working.
Thank u
for your needs i'd create an alternate state for each sheet.
