Upgrade to June 2017 issues

Hello all,

I am trying to upgrade from Qlik Sense 3.0.0 to the latest July patch.

While following the link: Upgrading ‒ Qlik Sense, I am stuck at step 5: Create a database dump file.

I have navigated to C:\Program Files\Qlik\Sense\Repository\PostgreSQL\9.3\bin and tried running the following commands:

set PGUSER=postgres

set PGPASSWORD=hidden

pg_dumpall.exe -p 4432 > C:\QlikDB_Dump

But it gives me an error saying access denied.

I am running the cmd in elevated mode.

I also tried running the command at C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Repository\PostgreSQL\9.3 but I get the same error.

Please help.

Hi,

We've upgraded Qlik Sense from 3.1 SR1 to June 2017, but we "avoid" the steps were you are stuck (upgrade directly to June 2017), so we did this:

Upgrade Qlik Sense 3.1 SR1 to 3.1 SR2 (Sync Persistence)

Upgrade Qlik Sense 3.1 SR2 to June 2017 (Sync Persistence to Shared Persistence)

I think this steps for me are safer than doing it directly to last version.
