Use Month as Column Header

Good afternoon fellow Qlik users.

I am trying to create a table that uses the month as the column header - similar to what we can do in Excel / Tableau

Apr-22 May-22 Jun-22 Jul-22 Aug-22 Sep-22 Oct-22 Nov-22
15 15 15 15 15 15 15 15
85 92 124 111 86 91 87 101
57 55 63 66 51 51 58 70
13 12 17 14 15 15 14 12
59 55 36 64 55 55 55 55
31 30 27 23 24 24 22 23
40 39 42 38 35 35 25 39
27 24 27 17 22 22 15 21

can anyone provide some insight on how to do this please

Hello,

It is unclear to me how your dataset is setup, however I assume that each row represents a different value. For example:

1. Lets assume that Row 1 represents sum of sales per month for Product 1, Row 2 represents the sum of sales per month for Product 2 etc.

2. This means that you probably has something like that in the dataset:

3. In that case, you can create Pivot table that will have:

  • Row: Product
  • Column: =Date(Date, 'MMM-YY')
  • Measure: =Sum(Sold)

And the outcome is:

I hope that this information was helpful. In case I have misunderstood the use case scenario, please elaborate in details by providing additional information. However, if it has helped you resolve the issue, addressed your concerns or at least pointed you in the right direction, please mark it as Accepted Solution to give further visibility to other community members.
