Use dynamic variable in Sense

Hello Everyone,

I have a chart with values that range from +10,000 to -40,000.  The stakeholder would like there to be a threshold component whereby the user can limit the values they see. In QlikView, we can create a variable, and then reference that variable in the Charts Expression function using ">=...".  Then we can tie the value of another UI component to that variable so that when it updates, it cascades through the chart.

Is there any way to do this in Sense?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes you can use something like the extension qsvariable from qlik branch to set the variable value by button, slider or drop down.  There are other controls available but that's the one I've used. You can then set the limitation in your chart using the variable value.

Make sure to set your default variable value first when the app opens.

Regards
