Hi, I am trying to hide some apps from certain users. Let me explain what I want to do in my console.
Qlik is used by four users (A, B, C and D) and I have two apps (1 , 2) on the stream.
User A and User B can view app1, while user C and user D can view app2.
I don't want to run a new stream because there will come new users and new similar, thematically related applications will come to that stream.
This is possible to do, but is much more complicated than it sounds, as security rules can only grant permissions, they cannot deny them.
This means you need to modify some of the base rules in order to not provide access to all apps on a stream.
This article contains the steps required for one approach, and as you can see it is quite cumbersome
In general it is better to group apps differently so you can manage access by stream.
