Re: Using Alternate State in QLikSense (without Extensions)


As Alternate State now available with the new release of QlikSense, we do not need to use this way around anymore. 

As for your question, since date selection is not part of data model (not associated to any table in data model) but we emulate the association in the front end using functions, we always see date values white (even if there is no data for a certain date it will be white because it is not part of associative data model) and only when we click on a date value the function we use in front end tells Qlik to use the input date we select as filter (by matching selected date to the existing date in data model).
