In QlikView (Sense's big brother) there was a thing called a trigger, which would fire an action when something else happened. There is not an equivalent of this in Sense.
You could add a button and configure the action to copy the selections from one filter to another, but it would require an extra click.
Beyond that though, the question is what it is you actually need to achieve. If the two fields have exactly the same values in it could be that it shouldn't be duplicated. If it is that you need to affect two charts from one filter it may be that some set analysis will help.
If you can share an example of what you need to do then I may be able to give some further thoughts.
