Value labels display on bar chart

This is my current stacked bar chart. I have the totals of each bar displayed at the top.

I would also like to display the totals of each segment within that particular segment of the stacked bar.

Is there any way to do the same? Kindly direct me to a relevant post if this has already been solved (I browsed the community quite a bit before posting this).

If the components of the stack are Dimension values and not dimension themselves then we cannot show values for each segment of the bar chart. If you transform the data such a way that the segments are dimensions and dimension values then the values will be displayed.

Could you please elaborate on the solution?

Consider my dimensions to be Year-Month and Product Type, and my measure is Total sales. So, are you saying I need to bring in Product type wise values?! If that is the case, then can I sum the sales Product Type wise and bring them in as a dimension?!
