Value returns zero when multiplied with certain quantity

I have a column share which is numerical and taken from an excel sheet but when I am trying to multiply with any other quantity it is returning me zero.What can be the problem?  Code : num([Share_HPPD%]*[Total Commit])

Seems nothing wrong over here.
Why you are showing [Share_HPPD%] like .64 , why not 0.63?

Because the values are written like this in the  excel sheet.The data is obtained from the excel sheet and i want to multiply with the corresponding column Total Commit but is returning null or zero.

Can you change that format from excel sheet? May be that is creating an issue
