Views in Qliksense

I want my data to update automatically. I am planning to create a view within Qliksense data load editor. Is it possible ? If so how to load data.

Else do I need to create view in SQL in that way, will the data update automatically.

Help me out.

You can either create the View in the SQL server or use the SQL query within the QlikSense script editor. But that wouldn't keep the QlikSense app to update/refresh automatically. If you want to keep your app updating by itself, you need to create a task in the QlikSense server to refresh your app based on a defined scheduled for e.g. hourly or semi-hourly.

Thanks Sohail Ansari. It was helpful. Is there any way to update it rather than using Qlik Sense Server.  Because am an independent Qlik user. I don't have Qlik sense Server.

1. Qlik Branch.

This will allow you to reload application whenever you want from front end.

2. Qlik Branch

I haven't used this one.. But from information I guess you set frequency on front end without using QMC.

3. Qlik Branch

This one is using Command Prompt.
