Volume and count based on selection

Hi All,

I have to calculate the Polmatdt count and volume let say that if select month Apr n year 2018 then count of PolMtdt and amount please help me how to do it ,i created variable but its not working properly i have dt from 2010 till 2023 but what i want is if user doestnt select then it should be current month that is Apr it should give me amount and count else which ever user select based on selection,

amount or count should be form month start till monthend  Apr1 to Apr31

PolMatDt   amt

20180422   50000

20190423  40000

20170321  30000

1st Measure :count(PolMatDt  )

2nd measure Sum(Amt)

use ur dimension with out date in PolMatDt

hello channa,
i want to show in KPI the amount of PolMatDt for that reason i created a variable based on selction which is not working .if i select month march n year 2018 the mount for march2018 should be visible or else by default apr2019
if(getselectioncount(dealmonth)=0,monthname(today()),plmatdt)
