Way to exclude the filter from the sheet

Hi All,

I have to apply the default value in the filter when they open the dashboard. This filter should only work on few sheets. Is there a way to do it. One way is to exclude the field using set analysis. This will be lot of work. Is there any better solution?

Ås you mention, set analysis is a way to go. 

Another is to set a default bookmark that is selected when opened. The drawback is that it is only a initial selection that is initiated when you first open the application, it is not re-applied during your session.

A third approach is to find a extension that meets your needs. I do not have an direct link for you, but I'm  pretty sure I've seen at least one that does what you want. Check out https://developer.qlik.com/garden
