What graphical notation should use to describe BI application scenario?

Hi!

I'm building a BI application in QlikSense for my graduate work and I need to describe in a graphical way scenario of functionality of this application. Firstly, I chose eEPC ARIS because it allows to show functions, events, different resources on the diagram. But now I doubt that this notation is suitible for this purpose. Does anyone have any thoughts on this case?

I do really appreciate any help in this problem.
Thanks!

Hi Sofia,

if you are talking of BI do not forget the semplicity.

On 90% of case, less is better.

Personally I'm using draw.io charts for describing the data flow and i think it's the best way to track and keep in mind the data path.

Hi Sofia,

In my opinion, you should clearly articulate what ideas you want to convey in your graduate work, articulating them on the principle of the pyramid. And the graphic representation should be based on these ideas. It is important that the graphic material as best as possible conveys the meaning of your ideas. Therefore, I did not rely in advance on the choice of this or that graphic tool in advance - value is not in it, but in your ideas within the framework of Qlik Sence.

Look book "Barbara Minto The Pyramid Principle LOGIC IN WRITING AND THINKING".
