Hello everyone,
I am looking for the option: "Auto-zoom on selection" in my map object.
I know it was there before, but I can't find/see it any more.
It's also mentioned here: https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense/February2018/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Visualizations/Map/map-propert...
Presentation | Navigation: By default, off. When set to Auto, the navigation tool is displayed, with options to pan and zoom. Auto-zoom on selection: By default, selected. When a selection is confirmed, the map automatically zooms in on the selected area. |
What am I missing (besides this option)?
Thanks in advance.
Good discovery! It looks that it disappeared in Feb 2018.
I have created a ticket to Qlik and ask them to fix it ASAP.

Thanks for your reply, but the problem is, my settings look different. As you can see in the attached image I don't see that option any more.
Same for me

OK it looks that when you select point layer it is there. If you select area layer, the auto zoom is not available.
Hi,
Where did you create a ticket? So I can also follow up if it doesn't return soon or when I run into other missing features in the future.
Thanks for trying to figure it out with me (even though I forgot to reply to your discovery about point layer vs area layer, my bad ).

If you are a partner too, you should be able to open case in partner portal --> contact support.
The case opened by me is not allowed to be viewed by other partners.
The last update is that " This reported issue has been registered with engineering team." so Qlik has realized this issue and will fix it but it may take a while...
I will let you know when there is any update.

Don't know if this was already the case, but:
- Include null values
Doesn't work either?
I am trying to make a complete world map, but that isn't possible this way. I want everything that has a value to be on the map, but also everything that doesn't have a value to also be on the map. This way I see a worldmap and with colours I can show which one has what value etc.
Atm if I only have values for Australia and Germany, I will only see those 2's with a giant space between them and that isn't visually appealing at all.
