Which security rule governs publication of stories?

Hi All,

Does anyone know which default security rule governs publication of Stories on published applications.  I thought it might be CreateAppObjectsPublishedApp but it appears not.

Hi Rean, what do you want to achieve? Do you want the users not to create a new story once the app is published? Or do you want to limit the access to the stories to some users? In the first case the rule absolutely is "CreateAppObjectsPublishedApp"  and in the second one the rule is "ReadAppContents".

‌Hi Andres,

THe problem I am facing is that the right click Publish story option has dissappeared.

I could systematically return all my security rules back to vanilla until I find the culprit but I was hoping someone might know the answer.

The users in question can both read and create stories.  They just can't publish them.

Any ideas?

Well, that depends on the custom rules you have then. To find the problem, the only advice I can give you is to filter by the custom rules and then try to figure it out. Sorry that I can't help you more, hope you find what's going on!
