Hi guys,
Is there any way to write text like the heading of a sheet (eg. Colours) in a KPI chart or does it have to be a number?
I would like to use the KPI chart as a button to navigate to other sheets. Best I can do is place a text box above the KPI chart with the name of the sheet written in it.
If anyone is able to help that would be great!
Thanks,
James
Hi James,
With the KPI object, leave the Expression field blank and place your text in the label field. To get rid of the dash '-' change the colour to white. Final step is to expand the Appearance section and set the 'Link to sheet' option.
Downside is the format of the label text cannot be changed so the other option is, as you have mentioned, to use a text box with a hyperlink to the respective sheet.
Hope this helps.
Kind regards,
Rod
Can you show a printscreen?
Add Button on chart and set transparancy =100%
Add Action on button to activate sheet
Hi Thomas,
Please see attached images. I have circled the relevant fields in red.
Hope this helps.
Kind regards,
Rod
That's a great example and it certainly works, but unfortunately the text is just way too small.
Thanks for the help anyway!
Sorry but I'm not too sure which button you're talking about.

This is Qlik Sense Carlo, not QlikView
Hi Kerrigan,
Try this. It works for me.
Hope this helps!
