cannot create connection to my desktop on qlik server

Hi all, I am trying to fetch .csv files from my desktop into qlik sense. I cannot find the files when I navigate through the qlik sense data connection. When I try the same on my desktop version I am able to fetch the files I need. Do I need to implement some kind of security rule to enable this? How does one pull in files on their desktop using the qlik server connection? Thanks.

Hi,

You would need to create a connection to a shared folder that you have creted.

\\networkfolderpath\yoursharedfolder\

Alternatively, you can mount your shared folder on the Server side, and then a local connection would be possible.
