combining 2 sources with almost the same data

Hello everyone,

I have a question about a problem that I have with linking 2 databases. I have two different databases with similar (sometimes the same) suppliers. However, some suppliers are not entered with the same name in the system. It may happen that the same supplier in the system is called FreshSupply and the other FRESHSUPPLY or FreshSupply LTD.

My question is whether in Qlik there is a way to link it with recognition or something.

Hi,

you can try to see if there is a joining field that can help you join your tables. a numeric Field (ID) will solve your problem..

otherwise, you will have to clean and normalize your fields to be able to join your tables.
