data manager - generated by script

In QlikSense 2.2 Data Manager when I get "Generated by script" I can not edit. if i add another table that also have the same problem.

how can i edit (from data manager) ?

Hi Ricardo,

Try going to the data load editor and remove the lock of the tab first. Once you remove the lock, try using the data manager.

it is possible to edit in data load editor and still use the data manager?

Hi Ricardo,

Data manager helps you to generate script with the transformation you need in a graphical way. So when you edit the script generated in the auto-generated tab you will be modifying the changes which the data load editor generated.

Is there any thing specific you are trying to acheive with the data manager? Like any transformations or data cleaning?

Hi Sangram,

i am only testing and understanding data manager.

for instance if I load data from sql i can not make any changes in the data manager. only the Data load editor.

It is supposed to be like that ?
