data upload editor vs data management.

Hello. I'm trying to figure out how, and when to use, the two options mentioned. can you tell me when to use the editor and when to manage data? is there a document about it or an example? i'm having a lot of trouble managing these hard options. my data is mainly taken from an MS_SQL on prime with Data Gateway - Direct Access. thank you

that is what I say to my team when they start work with QLIK -

use only with the data load editor,

the data management is good for simple joins and connections, I saw a lot of problems or stuff the management catch wrong

I come from a long experience with QlikView.
I wanted to understand the benefits of using Data Management but I only appreciated the recognition of date fields and geographic fields,
however, if you have to make a change, management problems arise.
i thought maybe i lack the knowledge i need to use data management.
instead you are telling me that actually there are problems.
it's not cool and it's not from Qlik .....
