disabling the selection criteria within sheet

This may seem like a really silly question. Does anyone know how to disable the selection criteria section in a sheet. 

Would like to force users to use the filters already provided on the sheet, and want to prohibit them from going directly into the selection criteria. May seem super weird to want this, but wondering if this is even possible because common sense tells me otherwise.

I was afraid of this. Thanks for the link. Also did learn something new-  you can limit what fields user can search when using the global search, which is pretty neat.
