how to pass parameters to url?

I've created bunch of sheets from qlick sense. Basic idea is that instead of human clicking the pie chart, we want it happen programmatically. (every 20 seconds select different team within a loop)

For example

http://address/?team=A

will show drill down of the A team from the original sheet

where can I find tutorial on this? I found the single object, but I want make it happen to entire sheet...

From this url.... is XCXaAR is the Sheet ID?

host.../sense/app/86ff2930-a2a5-4245-851d-0f11deeff6fa/sheet/XCXaAR/state/analysis

Thank you in advance

Re: how to pass parameters to url?

Hi Jong,

What you are looking for here is document chaining as in QlikView, isn't it? If so its not fully functional in QlikSense. But there are a few work arounds to it.

Check these threads.

QlikSense - how to set an initial selection in the URL?

Thanks,

Re: how to pass parameters to url?

hi Sangram,

Thanks for the reply! so I have to create individual single objects -> make it into iframes -> create a web page with multiple iframes that looks like the sheet?

Our company uses Qlik sense enterprise version... would there be a feature?

Thanks

Jong

Hi Jong,

Yes absolute! you can make use of I frames or even build a mashup to achieve this.

Thanks,

Sangram.

You can use the single configurator to display a whole Qlik Sense sheet, including all its objects.
