is appid the same when imported on different Sense server?

I am using the Single Configurator to generate the URL to embed into my website IFRAME.

It seems the appid changes when i deploy to different servers.

How can I maintain the same appid?

Unfortunately, I don't believe there is any way to control what the ID of an app will be.

AFAIK there's no way to set app-id to a particular value.

You could try this,

Create a small javascript connector that will connect and use the GetDocList method of the Engine API. If you maintain the name of the dashboard, you'd then be able to fetch-its app-id and build the single configurator link.
