You can also install Qlik Sense Desktop for dashboard development, but it is only available for windows 10, and requires connecting to a Qlik Sense Enterprise.
About connectors, qlik sense brings connectors for different sources of information, such as Impala, Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, Azure Sql, Rest connector, etc. You can also use the ODBC drivers of each database you have.
