section access for CAC holder users

Hi, I asked a similar question yesterday but no luck so I am trying here.

We were able to implement section access in our dev environment. We now pushed our apps over to our production environment but our section access is not working as expected.

Previously, in our dev environment, our users names were set up as DOMAIN\userID.

Now in production, since we're dealing with CAC (common access card), our userID is a bunch of parameters as a long string.

e.g. -  DEPT=FINANCE, EMP_ID=145, ROW_NUM=002, NAME=DAVE

On top of this, I am having trouble finding the correct domain name in our prod environment (the one I did find, using this syntax - "=subfield(OSUser(),'\',1)" )

I've tried adding what I found from that syntax - CAC\DEPT=FINANCE, EMP_ID=145, ROW_NUM=002, NAME=DAVE

I also tried adding single quotes around the long string but no luck there. I'm positive the issue is stemming from the userIDs since there are multiple parameters and qlik isn't handling that as I expected.

Here is my original problem - https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-Sense-App-Development/section-access-from-script-not-working-as-e...

Any guidance is appreciated.
