Dear experts,

I would like to upgrade my Qlik Sense site to Qlik Sense 2.1.

Please advise steps to upgrade without losing any apps.

Hi,

If you just run the installer for Qlik Sense 2.1 it will detect your previous version and give you the option to perform an upgrade automatically. All of your existing content will be migrated as a part of the process and you shouldn't lose any apps. If any apps do fail the migrate process (one of mine did) this will be visible in the Apps section of the QMC where a "Migration Status" column can be viewed.  All the same I recommend preparing for the worst and backing up your environment and apps just in case you need to roll back.

More detail can be found in the help for 2.1, here: http://help.qlik.com/sense/2.1/en-US/online/#../Subsystems/Installation/Content/InstallationLicensin...

Cheers,

Rod
