Access Denied while accessing as USER but working fine with ADMIN access

Hi All

I've implemented section access in my application. When I put access as ADMIN, I'm able to access the App on access point but when I login as USER it says access denied. Is there a certain reason for this?

is it the same login id you are using in both ADMIN and USER Profiles?

Asking the above question to know if you have cal assigned to Login ID

yep, I'm using the same login id, but once I reload with ADMIN as access and the other time, I did with USER as access.
There is only a single row with the defined access.

Does it have any restricted access as user? if not there should not be any difference when you access the application on access point

I don't think that there are any restricted access as USER.

This is quite an absurd behavior. I'm very confused now.

Sorry, but I don't think I will be able to. I read somewhere if we're using domainname/username, we need to use NTNAME instead of USERID. Let me check with this.

Hi Pratyush,

You can check in user preference what access the user have. That must be the reason there is a difference between the access when you log in an user or admin. If you reload it from QMC there will be no difference. In access point there is no concept of user or admin.
Thanks
