Ajax/IE Plug Ins & General Browser Advice

Hi,

Could anyone point me to any relatively high-level overviews of "browser technologies"  - I'm confused by the "plug ins" and want to provide a simple guide to what browsers are supported for customers accessing Q/V enterprise edition V11.
