Install Qlikview Desktop on simple workstations (or wherever) and use Qlikview Desktop on those machines to develop the Qlikview documents. You'll want to give the developers access to a share on the server where you installed Qlikview Server so they can deploy the Qlikview documents on that server.

The number of RDP session a Windows server accepts is something that can be changed by adding the RDS role and buying the appropriate number of licenses.

Thank you very much Gysbert .

So we can Increase the Number of concurrent users in a Qlikview server windows.

BTW what is the this RDP and RDS. ?

buying the appropriate number of licenses - can you please elaborate this point.

And generally how the big teams (10 are more developers ) share the single server...?

please advice your method for this issue.

This is a Windows Server issue and has nothing to do with Qlikview. Ask your local friendly Windows System Administrator.

In my experience developers do not use servers as development workstations. Or if they do then each developer gets his/her own server, but without a Qlikview Server installation since that's not needed for development.

Hi Vishal,

In general only 2 admins can work at the same time on a server. So you can have 3 assigned, but only 2 can work on it at the same time.

If your app is small, then as Gysbert indicates, you don't need a server, but Qlikview installed on a local (strong) pc. Later on you publish in QV server the result.

If your app is big, and works with files that are too big to handle by a regular desktop pc, then best is to work with at least 2 servers if you need 3 persons to work at the same time on it.
