Authorization of the application using manual input on access point

Hi All,

We have a requirement where we have to authorize email address for users on one of the application, we are providing access to those users by entering their email id's in manual input (highlighted with blue in the screenshot attached) under authorization of the application (in QMC)

Below are my concerns on which would like to hear expert comments :

1. Is username and password case sensitive in QLIK i,e, while entering credentials on access point

2. When i enter the email id's in CAPS under authorization of the application and click on apply the uses automatically get converted to lower case

Can anyone help me with the answers to the concerns above?

I'm not really sure but I think the username isn't case sensitiv but the password is. Further I'm not sure if your mail-address approach would work, maybe you could find here more: https://community.qlik.com/search.jspa?q=external+user.
