Bar Chart

Hi,

How do we display in a Bar Chart where the starting value of the next (following) bar should be from where the previous one ends, that is the maximum value of the previous bar should be the minimum starting point of the next bar. Here is a picture of what I'm trying to create. Please find the file attached.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Umar,

I attached an example with 1 table with the values and 3 graphics, the first at natural way, the secodn is with the bar offset and the last with the dual function... for bar offset go in expression tab and click on the '+' sign against the expression to expand the options  and set the bar offset...

Hi Umar,

Use bar offset in the expression, if you go to expression u will see + mark please click on it and you will see the bar offset.

The chart is water fall chart

Suppose you have chart with expression

Sum(Metrics)

Ex:- Sum(Sales)

Then write this expression also in expression Bar offset

See the sanap:-

But it still doesn't work. I think the dual function should work.

Check Data visualization file in qlikview demo.

You can see the example for waterfall model.

This will help you in your logic.
