Can a bar chart be converted to Straight table ?

Can a bar chart be converted to Straight table ?  I have Cyclic Dmensions

I want to show each dimensions according to each expression values. Means Expression values should be shown from Max to Min and accordingly dimension should come.

for ex:  A  25

           B  21

           E  12

Ah - have you checked the sort against each expression? If you set it descending for the first expression, then OK it and cycle to the next expression, then go back into the properties and set the sort priority for that expression. With cyclical expressions you need to be on that particular expression to alter the sort order for it, and they're controlled separately.

In cyclic expression i have 2 expressions. But , in Sort Order, I am getting only:

1: Cyclic Dim

2: 1st expression of Cyclic expression.

I am not getting second expression.

Thanks but prob is i have cyclic dim and cyclic expression. And when i make staright table, it is not giving correct result i.e from max value to min value.

Hi,

First you can create bar chart and finish it.

After that go to bar chart properties -->> general -->> straight table -->> finish

You'll only see the second expression when you've cycled onto it. If you go out of the properties and then cycle your expression in your chart to your second expression, then go back into the properties and onto the sort tab and you should see the second expression of the cyclical group.

I did that but i want the sorting in same manner as in bar chart which goes wrong when i converted it to straight table.

Thanks but the problem is in my Sort Tab , i ahve Cyclic Dim also.

When i select Numeric value = Descending for both expression, it does not work.

But, when i select CyclicDim and then Frequency = Descending, it is giving correct descending order but not for all combination of cyclic dim and cyclic exp.

What to do??

I ahve done it. I just promote the expression to 1st pos. And in second put cyclic dimension.
