Clikview Reloads Failing

Good Day Everyone

I am very new to Qlikview eben though our Company has been using it for quite some time.

There is a company here in South Africa that supports the product but they are pretty pathetic and have been unable to assist us as of late with some of our QlikView reloads that have been failing

I have attached the log of our failing Qlikview model and was hoping on of the Gurus on this site could assit me in figuring out what is causing the reload of our Finance Model to fail.

See log attached

Thanks guys.

Very sorry to hear that.

Have you tried reloading without the "QVDeploy/Finance/Finance.qvw" model. Seems to be failing here.

Is that App using Applymap anywhere?

Have you resently had a upgrade?

Check that you're server is not trying to execute too many tasks at the same time and running out of cpu and/or memory resources and into timeout limits.
And check the document log of the Finance Model document to see if there are specific errors related to the script logic of that document.

Hi John, thanks.

But the Finance Reload is the one that we need, so no point in running the reload without it.

I need to know why that specific model is failing.

Hi Gysbert

Where will I find the Finance Model specific log?

Thanks

Hi.

I had a similar issue with a Client in JHB a while ago.

It was around the Applymap.

Does the Finance Model use Applymap in the script?

It should be in the same folder as the model.

In the same directory as the .qvw document with the same name with .log appended. If it doesn't exist then you need to enable the Generate logfile option in the document properties.
