Conditional Count Function

HI,

I have used the following expression in a KPI:

Count({<[Required?] = {"YES"}>}[Required?])

In my data, there are three possible entries for the field 'Required?'.  They are:

YES

NO

DONE

So the KPI is to merely count those that are currently designated as "YES".

However, I get a count in my data that is different than what is displayed in the KPI.  For example, in the Excel pivot table, I get 1,507 "YES" results, and that is the same number in the Qlik pie chart of the same data.  Hopwever, the KPI returns a number of 1,754.

Does my expression look incorrect?

Thanks, for anyone who can help!

Mike

With KPI, you mean a gauge chart?

What does the expression return in a text box object?

And what is the dimension used in the pie chart? Maybe the dimension shows some NULLs in records?
