Container

Hi

I was wondering if any one can help me on my container issue. My client has a report with 5 containers and I have built a system access load for them to hide the container if the user does not fall into a grouping but what I want to do is move the container into the empty space.

Hi

Could you be a bit clearer?

Are all 5 containers managed by user permissions ?

If the user has no permissions, no containers will show in the empty space.

There will be 2 that are static and the remainder will be controlled by the user permissions. SO if the user does not have any permissions they will see the basic data.

Hi

Moving the container is not easy - you should be able to do it with macro code. This code will not work in web view or in Ajax on a server, so we do not use macros.

Hiding is easy (and Ajax compatible), so another option would be to make two containers and conditionally show the containers based on your requirements.

Thanks Jonathan I thought that would be the way I will just leave it with the Buttons in the container to be grayed out if they don't have access to the sheet.
