Cursor control in a chart

Hi,

I need to replace the cursor  ('+' sign) in a chart to an arrow. I have attached a image file where in the cross sign has to be replaced by an arrow. Please suggest a way to do it. The idea is to stop the user from clicking the chart and this is achieved by 'Read-only' option. However the user does not want to see the '+' sign as well. Rather he would like to see just an arrow.

Put a text box on top of it, resize it so it covers the entire chart and then make that text box 100% transparent.
