Date to Month and Year

I have this date value as above and column is called ExpDate and I want to convert this to Month and Year.

I tried

year(ExpDate ) for Year

Month(ExpDate ) For Month.

Both doesnt work

May be this:

LOAD *,

          Month(ExpDate) as Month,

          Year(ExpDate) as Year;

LOAD Date#(ExpDate, 'DD-MMM-YY') as ExpDate
