Default selection for a sheet is not working Web view.....?

Hi All,

Sheet Level default selection are not working in the Web view.

Ex:In Sheet Properties -> Triggers -> On Active Sheet -> Select in Field 

The above procedure used to get implement the default selection to a sheet. 

Can some one suggest me what is the issue.

It works fine for me, I tried the example that you do for Select In Field. Are you sure the name of the Field and the Search String is correct?

What is the default selection you are trying to make?

On Sheet Properties -- Triggers -- OnActivateSheet -- AddActions -- Selection -- Select in Field

Field as YEAR

Search String MAX(YEAR)

If this is written, then by default max year will be selected whenever you come to this page.

This will work in web view as well

i had tried the above procedure and actions are also valid. what ever actions i applied those actions are working fine in Qlikview desktop level.But when we are checking in web-View those actions are not applying.

Try using Toggle select and check

Hi Venu,

You will get this issue because of Association problem between fields.

you already have 3 different "Select in Field" Trigger actions .If you don't have any association between those fields you will not get any one field is gave this type of issue.

i.e 1st trigger action field is not having relation/Association with another field(2nd or 3rd Select in Field).

It doesn't work in WebView, see Reference manual. Works fine when using plugin.

Thanks for all your reply,

Default selection are working in web-view when i am going via selecting sheet1 to sheet2 tab at the top.

But in my case i used button to navigate from sheet1 to sheet2. So when i am using the button action the default selection in the sheet2 are not working in Web-view.
