Difference between resident load and preceding load

PRECEDING LOAD:If we want to apply any Transformations or Manipulations before loading the table into qlikview .We can active with precdeding load.Moreover qlikview script will be followed by Sql script.(preceding load will be available when we are connects to Database only).

RESIDENT LOAD:If we want to reuse particular fields from already loaded table.we can use resident load.
