Document not caching

Hello, we have found the performance of our Qlikview application to have reduced substantially over the past few days.  The servers memory usage used to be around 90%-95% which is correct.  We now find the server is only using something like 50% of RAM.  The memory seems to be emptying.

Anyone know why this is occurring?

Thanks

Take a look in your QVS Event log (not the windows event log, the Event*.log file in the logging directory). You'll find messages there explaining the memory usage events.

 Thank you for the reply.

checked the logs and cannot see anything in there to do with memory.

Is your QlikView Server logging level set to High Verbosity in the QMC\System\Setup\QlikView Server resource\Logging tab?  If not, you need to set that in order to get the Information level messages that will likely provide additional details around what is going on.  Meanwhile, here is an Article link with an attached PDF on memory/CPU usage that may help you better understand how things should be working:

QIX memory management & CPU utilization
