Editing an inline table in Qlikview

An inline table is a quick way to bring in data when you don't have a data source available.

Ideal for mapping tables, they are very widely used during prototyping and even in production.

Not many people realise however that if you want to edit an inline table you don't need to create a new one each time or try and write the values manually in the script. If you hover over where the inline table is in the script editor you will see a small hammer appear like so:

click it and it will open up the inline table editor again.

You can even copy from Excel and paste into the inline table. Column names need to be changed manually though in the wizard.
