Error "Failed to start connector: QvConnect32.exe"

Hello everyone

I get this error when i try to get data from any 32 bits DB in QlikView

Anyone knows where to find the answer to solve de issue ?

Even better anyone knows the answer ?

Here is what i get, this is a new dashboard

Ups, forget it

When i was sending this, I saw the "temp" directory and I remembered the permissions issue

And that was the solution, well If someone had the same problem, you know the solution

The QVConnect executables are embedded in the QV.exe executable. On first starting QV.exe, the program tries to unbundle these executables in the folder you mentioned, in order to make sure that it always has access to the correct version of QVConnect32 and QVConnect64. There seems to be no method to disable or redirect this expansion.


There seems no way to change on where this embedded exe is started (within you %appdata%\local\temp... ) and permitting this exe to execute is the only option.
