Essbase Connector

Hi,

I have installed Essbase connector in my computer and created a QVW by establishing a connection to Essbase.

Now if I want to run an QEMC reload task in the dev environment of that QVW, should I also install the Essbase connector in the Dev Qlikview server?

Can some one please clarify?

I don't use Essbase connector but I do use REST connector. Based on my experience with the REST connector, Yes you need to install it on the server also otherwise it will not work. Hope this helps.

Thanks. In terms of the REST Connector, do you use the same REST connector in the server that you installed in your computer?

If I remember correct, Yes it is the same connector.
