Failed to generate QVW File package

Please Help with this error

I made an upgrade from 11.2 SR3 to 11.2 SR6 I have done the following:

reinstall printer xchange3

disable the antivirus

change the settings.ini 400

change the printe xchange as default

The task "Reload of AdmonVentas\QVW\AdmonVentas.qvw" failed. Part of the log file follows:

Hi,

I believe this is the issue with PDF distribution and as I see your PDF printer is corrupted.

All that you have to do is installed the attached PDF printer.

Note:

by default QlikView supports PDF exchange 3.0, which is attached.

You can even try by increasing PDF timeout, as shown below.

To increase the PDF Printer timeout, do the following

Locate the file settings.ini found in

Windows 2008 - C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\QlikTech\QlikViewBatch

Windows 2003 - C:\Documents and Settings\Default User\Application Data\QlikTech\QlikViewBatch

Add the setting PDFPrintTimeoutInSeconds in the [Settings 7] section

[Settings 7]

PDFPrintTimeoutInSeconds= 120

Save setting and restart QlikView Distribution Service.

I tried those options and did not work, i chose to return to the previous version (11.2 SR3), but the clien is interesed in having the 11.2SR6, and in this version (11.2SR3) the client distribution works

Is there another solution?

Hi,

Simple upgrade must work.

The only solution is just try once again. or you can have fresh instillation rather.

If the fresh install does not work, please open a case with QV Support.
