I cannot find any information about such kind a technique, so I ask the question here.
The context is simple. I have an application composed of list/multi box, user can select among 15 fields containing each 10s of values. And table/graph for the reporting.
The issue here is linked to the data volume behind the application. (hundred millions of lines)
The current behavior of the application is that on each click of the user in one data of one filed, the report refresh to reflect the new selection. The user have to build the selection field by field, triggering the refresh ~10 times before the desired report is on screen.
For diverse reason (that we'll take as given for now) the reload is really slow, around 30sec. So the user have to wait 5min instead of 30sec to have the report.
Isn't there any solution to validate the selection with a button ?
