Got a question regarding forecasting.
I have a dataset that I've created to show activity for months up to June 2013.
What I need to do is in a straight table is forecast July to December 2013 as 3 month rolling average forecasts
(e.g. July would be average of sum( April to June Activity), and August would be average of the sum of actual may and june and the sum of newly calculated July).
This would mean that December forecast would be based on the expression calculating Sep,Oct & Nov and Averaging this.
Is this possible in Qlikview without having to create resident loads as I have brought through the months without any records in them(ideally the activity field in those records would be the average)/
I have been looking all over the community to see if there was a way of doing this but am struggling, so would appreciate any help.
I've attached a test qvw with a sample of my dataset and what I need help on.
