From my side the values have differently

Example:

01-Apr-15 8-29-20 AM.jpg

What you see in cell is formatting but the real values are in the function box.

What's your source of those data?

Hi Robert, you have a point, there is no decimal separator(no point)

my original source is the attached, what is the best option to transform to geo point latitude and longitude? what is your opinion

thank you a lot

Fernando

Fernando,

I think your problem is similar to the one you had in this post.

You should check your document variables for Decimal and Thousand separators, also check the actual data in the source file (does it contain decimal separators? If so, which is it? etc.) and then you will be able to plot the points in a map.

I believe I used that same data set but with Qlik Sense by the way

@Borja

The data set is different

My way was:

-Open with Notepad

-Save as csv.

The problem with your original data set has two coma  delimited fields after latitude an longitude

This is Qlikview podforum.

I can not open qvf file.

maybe is good idea to ask moderator to move this topic o open new one in QS forum.

If you use Robert's previous explanation you will get the coordinates properly formatted.

After that, follow the same method I advised on the other post about geo coordinates (make sure the DecimalSep is correct or use the num# function when loading the coordinates and finally apply the GeoMakePoint function).
